The show, created by Dan Fogelman and starring Sterling K. Brown as a Secret Service agent investigating the assassination of the president three years after a doomsday event forced the U.S. government to move underground to a Colorado bunker, received nominations for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Brown, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Julianne Nicholson, and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for James Marsden.
